Selling Records in Town

Greetings! Just for you, my fine people, I have a few updates:

First, as of late, I’ve been selling records out of a cardboard box every First Friday in White River Junction. There’s a vendor fair that goes on in the old bingo hall, which is now called Newberry Market. In addition to The Case of the Missing Records releases, I’ve also bought an inventory of records from local bands I like. Plus, I have a small collection of relics from Vermont’s former record labels, this thanks in large part to Mountain Man Music of Rutland, VT. I’m working on growing my selection, so any suggestions of what I should have are appreciated. Unfortunately, I won’t be there in July, but  you will find me there in August!

Secondly, our next release is coming along. It’ll be a short run 7″, although possibly one of our bigger releases at 250 copies. The hint I’ll give is that it’s a friend of ours who sometimes goes by the name of a famous food. More details will be forthcoming once I get the test pressings..

Lastly, I have less than 25 copies of No Focus by The Pilgrims left. This kind of blows my mind, but I hoped would happen. Once they are gone, folks will have to go to the record stores (Mountain Man Music, Burlington Records, Pure Pop, Turn It Up, and Autumn Records so far) in order to find them. This is why I like short runs of records: the people who buy them and the stores that carry them have something worthwhile right away, and without me having to distribute like a madman.

That is all for the time being, my friends. So long for now, and thanks for staying tuned!

P.S. Can anyone find me a wooden crate I can use instead of this cardboard box?
